Hinton Training Centre in Alberta, Canada, offers a wide range of research, training and educational courses related to Alberta’s sustainable resources. They offer unique training facilities available to both government and community stakeholders.
Hinton Training Centre employs Simtable’s Wildfire Simulation module for use in wildland fire response and mitigation training. A staff of master instructors conduct more than 45 wildfire courses annually, from basic fire suppression, to advanced planning and management training.
Simtable now includes Canadian fuel models in its Wildfire Simulation Module which were also used in a Simtable delivery to northern Michigan.
